Our community is proud to celebrate Arbor Day in April with a series of events and tree plantings held throughout local parks. These events provide a meaningful opportunity for residents of all ages to come together, give back, and help enhance the natural beauty of our shared spaces. Volunteers will take part in planting trees, supporting a healthier environment and contributing to a greener future for generations to come.
2026 April Tree Planting Saturdays
In celebration of Arbor Day, the City is hosting a series of community tree planting events throughout April. Together with city staff, volunteers, and Canopy.org, we'll be expanding our urban forest, fostering community stewardship, and sharing the many benefits trees bring to our neighborhoods.
Events are welcoming for residents and families of all ages, and each gathering supports our broader urban forest and sustainability goals.

Mayoral Proclamation & Tree Planting at the Earth Day Celebration

Join us for the Mayor's annual Arbor Day Proclamation and ceremonial tree planting. Afterwards, stick around to enjoy the Earth Day Celebration, featuring environmental activities, educational booths, and opportunities to learn more about sustainability.

Special Event: Cuesta Park Tree Planting & Vendor Fair

Join us for a special Arbor Day celebration at Cuesta Park featuring a larger-scale community tree planting along with local vendors and community organizations.
Come plant trees, connect with neighbors, and explore booths offering sustainability resources and more. This is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact while enjoying a lively community atmosphere.
